Only say yes to what you can deliver - blow about saying yes when you can
Saying Yes all the time is not good

Yes!

yes if you can

Yes!

It’s easy to say “yes” to every opportunity that lands at your feet. Saying “yes” often delights, makes you feel good and positive and is exciting in that moment.
But then, in a quiet space away from the person you eagerly said “yes” to, you look again at the deal and realise what a mammoth task will be required to deliver! In fact, it’s probably beyond your expertise and certainly out of your comfort zone.
Being obligingly compliant has landed you officially in it!
With a few years on side now, I have learned to step back and truly evaluate whether I am the right person for the job or just someone else’s ticket to a great deal. If it’s not for me, then I politely walk away. That makes me feel good and positive, instead of overwhelmed, uncomfortable and unproductive.
Saying “yes” to everything is a short-term sweetener that can create a long-term headache.
Think, breathe and say “yes” only when you believe that you are absolutely the right person for the job. If you decide to hand over, then do so with a smile and your integrity intact.
Yes?
